We farm organic coffee in Brasil through biodynamic methods.  In 2009 we started a direct trade project to bring our own coffee directly to the UK consumers and thus bypassing up to 5 layers of middle companies taking a cut in the process.  We are a very small company in the UK and looking to find like minded people to share experiences in our journey of discovery of the UK market.  It certainly takes a complete change of mind frame to go from selling 20 ton containers of green coffee at the farm gate back in Brasil to selling one 250g bag at a time.  It is a big challenge and we welcome all advise.
