Running an organic small holding.

Our speaker this month will be Simon Saggers of the amazing Guilden Gate organic smallholding, who will talk about how they've built a self sufficient small holding near Bassingbourn....in just 10 years. Guilden Gate includes a mixed organic small holding, an eco cottage with passive solar and a wind turbine, reed bed water treatment and woodland. They supply organic vegetable boxes to the local area, offer guided tours and consultancy on a range of planning, smallholding, energy and water projects
Simon will share what they've done and talk about how they've come up with something that "all fits together":  principle that will be important for quite a few Green entrepreneurs.  His talk will be followed by discussion and an opportunity to explore areas of interest in more detail in small groups
