My recent claim to fame now is an an author: of Energy and Carbon Emissions - the way we live today. By professsion I am a computer programmer (correction IT consultant!), but these days I only take  occasional jobs and I am more interested in environmental issues. I have a second degree in Environmental Studies (from the OU), I look after the Transition Cambridge website (http://www.transitioncambridge.org). and I am involved in Transition Cambridge energy group and I also volunteer for Cambridge Carbon Footprint, especially on home energy projects. I love best to use my programming  and writing skills in an environmental or sustainability context. Since the book I have been keeping a blog on similar subject matter.  If you want to compare carbon emissions from playing football with drinking beer or reading a book then do take  a look!
